You need to wake up before sunrise as you will be driven to Tiger Hill to witness sunrise over the peaks of snow-clad Kanchenjunga. Viewing the sunrise at Tiger Hill is the real highlight of your short Darjeeling escape. Later, return to your hotel to relish the morning meal. Post breakfast, you will be embarking on sightseeing at Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park.
Next, make your way to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and then tea gardens. Stroll the tea garden and understand the finest tea-making process. Stop at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, then attend Puja at the Japanese Temple. In the evening, shop the hand-knitted items, handicrafts, artifacts, or woolen clothes.
